Representative O’Day played a major role in the restoration of the above bridge, fighting for $250,000.00 in appropriations for the bridge’s repair and maintenance from the Massachusetts Highway Department. He continues to ensure public accessibility and safety through road and sidewalk resurfacing.

Additionally, Representative O’Day and his colleague Senate President Emerita Harriette L. Chandler, passed S.2559 – An Act authorizing the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance to modify and relocate an easement in the town of West Boylston. Beaman memorial library:

During the FY20 Budget process, Representative O’Day worked diligently to secure funding in the amount of $24,000 for technology upgrades at the Beaman Memorial Library in West Boylston.

Citizen Soldier’s Act:

Representative O’Day collaborated with local resident Mindy Esteves and the Town of West Boylston to provide property tax relief to active National Guardspersons and reservists through the Citizen Soldiers Act.  The Act is a local option for property tax abatement for National Guardspersons and reservists on active duty in foreign countries.  The measure has been in effect since 2010. 

West Boylston Fire Station:


During the FY19 budget process, Representative O'Day advocated to secure $150,000 for the architectural redesign of the West Boylston Fire Station.
