H.86 Proposal for a legislative amendment to the Constitution to provide resources for education and transportation through an additional tax on incomes in excess of one million dollars (Fair Share Amendment)

 

This legislation would place an additional 4% tax on annual taxable income that exceeds $1 million, starting in 2023. The new revenue generated by the tax would be spent on quality public education, affordable public colleges and universities, and the repair and maintenance of roads, bridges, and public transportation.
